Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Support daily machine setup, maintenance, troubleshooting to ensure it meets production requirement and recover loss down time.
• Report to immediate superior on daily activities done, including unscheduled interruption to production line.
• Ensure production productivity meet and achieve target by diligently carry out assigned daily task.
• Ensure production process and controls are performed according to engineering & customer specification and practices.
• Perform trouble shooting on production line to resolve quality and productivity matter with engineering team.
• Identify, propose, and implement improvements to production line that contribute to consistent product quality and productivity.
• Increase equipment/machine uptime and reduce maintenance expenditures.
• Ensure efficient use of resources and stay within approved budgets in completing maintenance/engineering assignments.
• Implement cost-savings and improvement projects.
• Carry-out predictive and preventive maintenance activities.
• Adhere to procedures that promote safety, health and welfare of employees and contractors.
• Carry out breakdown maintenance as delegated by HOD
• Ensuring all machinery and devices are in good working condition
• Stand-by after normal working hour on rotation basis to attend to any cases emergency breakdown of all machines and equipment
• Housekeeping of workplace

Job Responsibility

• Candidate must know Cimatron and Auto Cad program. Able to work as a team and taking some job pressure. Able to work independently after trained.
• 6 working days
• Assist in producing new designs and product development
• Collaborate with operations on projects
• Enhance the productivity of our organization by creating CNC programs, as well as refining existing programs to gain efficiencies.
• Write, store, and modify original and/or existing CNC programs utilizing Cimatron software
• Coordinate with Production to implement Engineering Change Requests to enhance production efficiencies
• Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data in order to calculate part dimension compatibility with machines, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates
• Observe machine trial runs or conduct computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce items that meet specifications
• Professionally communicate and work with others in both the Engineering and Production teams to troubleshoot CNC programming
• Provide progress, status, and troubleshooting reports to management
• May occasionally perform special projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

Competencies

• Must have experience with Cimatron ,Unigraphics or similar CAM software
• Must have CNC setup experience
• Must have experience using a 3D CAD software to create parts, assemblies, and drawings. Experience with Solidworks is preferred
• Ability to read a 2D layout but be able to visualize it in 3D to understand potential CNC tool collision points
• Blueprint reading, basic math, and understanding of measuring devices
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation and write appropriate machine-level instructions, including revisions to existing programs
• Ability to professionally communicate and work with others in both the Engineering and Production teams
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must be self-motivated and positive

Working Experience

• More than 2 years in manufacturing
• Able to speak and write in Malay or English

Individual Skill

• Good communication skill
• Good interpersonal skill

Education Background

• Certificate of technical school related with mould

Additional Ability

• Familiar in cad cam software ex: UG, Cimatron, mastercam

Responsibility

• Received instruction from design manager.
• Make 3D model mould base on JDR or customer cad file.
• Output assembly drawing and child part drawing.
• Ask design manager to verify 3D model before sent to nc programmer.
• Order raw material base on mould design and give to design manager to verify.
• Sent 3D model to nc programmer to start fabricate.
• Update JDR system and daily Job.
• Implement advance product Quality Planning (APQP) procedure for new product
• Prepare documentation and sample as according to APPAP procedure.
• Involve in establishment of FMEA and FMEA review.

Minimum Qualifications / Working Experience

• SPM qualification or similar experience
• Able to speak and write in simple Malay and simple English
• Knowledge in maintenance job
• Some knowledge in IATF 16949
• Basic knowledge of maintaining ISO9001:2015 or other Quality Standard are advantage etc..IATF 16949, ISO14001.
• Able to operate basic computer system
